My Favorite Works
You have discovered my secret button. Congrats! Here are some of my favorite assignments from over the years. I do hope you enjoy :)

Creative Alternate Scene
Libs 204; Professor Mercy Romero
For my Minorities in American Cinema course, students were tasked in creating an alternate creative scene for one of the films we had watched in the class. Much to my surprise, I chose to create a scene for the film Moonlight and base it off of the death of a much beloved character.
Different Teaching Methods
Educ 417; Dr. Damien Mason
While I may not remember the entirety of this project, but I do remember the joy I felt getting to research and understand how to use these teaching methods in a classroom. I wanted to signify the importance of using different teaching methods for students.

The Carnal Knowledge of Various Individual Narratives
Engl 235; Professor Tim Wandling
Though I know my writing is not entirely the best, I still enjoyed getting to do this final assignment from my Early British and American Literature course. My reflective view on the sexual theme being portrayed amongst numerous texts was by far a great liking to my knowledge and many of my classmates.
Feelings Are Forever
Libs 102; Professor Margaret Anderson
While this is just a response to the book The Will to Change: Men, Masculinity, and Love, it was one of my favorite book responses I have done in Hutchins. Bell Hooks does an excellent job discussing the toxic masculinity society has managed to emanate, while also pushing the boundaries on the emotions men feel. It made me think long and hard about the men in my life and how I may help them grow a healthy mentality.
